ECD man shot, relieved of motorcycle

first_imgA Liliendaal, East Coast Demerara man was on Sunday evening shot and relieved of his motorcycle and $3000 by two armed men at B Field, Sophia, Greater Georgetown.Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that at about 21:50h, the injured man had just left his girlfriend’s home in B Field when he was confronted by two men, one armed with a handgun.He reportedly resisted but in retaliation the perpetrators discharged a round hitting him to his left foot. He was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was treated and sent away. The matter was reported but no arrests were made nor his motorcycle recovered.Police are continuing investigations.last_img
