We all have to become ambassadors of Croatian products

first_imgTwenty years have passed since the initial idea launched by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, with the aim of creating a visual identity of quality Croatian products and services based on many years of experience and knowledge and research and development, invention, creation and tradition. In cooperation with companies holding quality labels, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce promotes and raises consumer awareness of the quality of Croatian products and services that are visually recognizable by the quality labels “Croatian Quality” and “Originally Croatian”. It was with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of buying domestic products that an action was launched Let’s buy Croatian, which is being held today and tomorrow in Zagreb on Ban Josip Jelačić Square.”On the list of recognizable qualities of Croatia, we must not forget our work, skill, creativity and our knowledge that has been translated into a top product or service. We should be equally proud of the olive oil and cheese and the football goal. We all know how difficult it is to be an entrepreneur and place any product on a highly competitive market. All the exhibitors present here, and there are more than 300 of them, have succeeded in this and we congratulate them from the bottom of our hearts. But even they cannot move forward alone, so I call on all Croatian citizens to become ambassadors of the Let’s Buy Croatian campaign.”, Said the President of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce Luka Burilovic. The latest HGK survey showed that 78 percent of citizens take care of buying Croatian products when they go shopping, and as many as 86 percent of them are willing to spend more kuna for a quality domestic product. Zagreb Deputy Mayor Olivera Majić emphasized that this action promotes every year. domestic knowledge innovation and effort. “Zagreb has established itself as a tourist destination and we must incorporate as many domestic products as possible into creating a specific offer and image that we send to the world. Our tradition, domestic production, aromas and flavors of local gastronomy are what will set us apart from the competition”, Said Majic.  After Vukovar, Rijeka and Zagreb, the action continues in Bjelovar, while the specialized project “Let’s buy a Croatian-Croatian product for Croatian tourism” will be held in November in Zagreb.7,5 MILLION HRK PROVIDED FOR BRANDING WITH QUALITY SIGNS “CROATIAN QUALITY” AND “ORIGINALLY CROATIAN”With the aim of creating a visual identity of the quality of domestic products and services, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce awards the Croatian Quality and Original Croatian Labels, and the products that carry them stand side by side with the world brands. For the promotion of signs, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Economy, provided entrepreneurship and crafts HRK 7,5 million in grants. No concerns for Pellegrini

first_imgManchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is confident his side can maintain their ferocious pace until the end of the season. Only once during that run have they had a gap of more than four days between games and the fixtures continue to come thick and fast. Fresh from securing their place in the Capital One Cup final in midweek, City host Watford in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday before travelling to Tottenham in the Barclays Premier League next Wednesday. Despite the tough schedule, Pellegrini has no concerns that his team could run out of steam. The Chilean said: “No, I don’t think we are going to have some problems in that sense. “Maybe we will have problems with other teams – they are good teams – but I think we are making good rotations during the whole year. “Also, the way we play we have a lot of possession of the ball, so we rest by not always running after the ball.” Pellegrini’s determination to play an exciting, attacking brand of football has not wavered, no matter which XI he sends out on the field. He sees no reason to have to compromise his beliefs just because the depth of his squad might be tested in the coming months, particularly when the Champions League challenge resumes next month. The 60-year-old said: “The style, of course we are going to try and continue until the end. “I don’t know if we are going to win all the games but we are going to try to continue. “I said from the beginning of the season that the most important thing is to have a style and after that to have 11 starters.” Pellegrini’s predecessor Roberto Mancini this week suggested he should receive some credit for the way City are playing this season. Mancini assembled much of the squad and led City to Premier League and FA Cup success before being sacked last May. Pellegrini, speaking at a press conference, was not interested in responding to Mancini’s comments. He said: “I don’t think anything about that. If it is his opinion, everyone can say what he thinks is true. “I am not the best person to analyse. It is not for me or him to compare.” City are still in contention for four trophies and have scored a remarkable 106 goals in their 35 games so far this term. They have won 16 of their last 18 matches – and drawn the other two – stretching back to the last international break in November. Press Associationlast_img read more
