first_img Facebook Twitter: @NeosKosmos Instagram Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis dubbed the Greek government “a blind tool of NATO” following the ratification of the Prespes Agreement. In an article published in Greece’s daily newspaper Ta Nea, Mr Theodorakis said that the Greek government did not represent the people in its decision to ratify the controversial agreement that has put an end to the 28-year name dispute with FYROM.Prior to the ratification of the agreement, Mr Theodorakis had called on all 300 members of Greek Parliament to not support “this crime against Greece.”The decision to name FYROM the Republic of Northern Macedonia has prompted FYROM’s Prime Minister Zoran Zaev to adopt the name Macedonia, which is what he refers to his country in Tweets, and this has angered Greek critics of the agreement.Meanwhile, Greece’s 10-year borrowing costs dropped to a four-month low on January 28 following the ratification of the accord.last_img
